With the fast development of new energy vehicle such as all-electric cars, Volkswagen as a traditional automobile enterprise has also released some all-electric vehcles with ID serial numbers such as ID.3, ID.4, ID5, ID.6 and ID.7. And today we will introduce ID.4 and its related 1/18 scale diecast models.

ID.4 which is based on the MEB platform is a battery electric crossover SUV manufactured by Volkswagen since 2020 as the 2021 model year, and it is the second model of the Volkswagen ID. Series, also the first fully-electric crossover SUV in Volkswagen lineup.

The ID.4 was released in China in January, 2021 and manufactured by joint venture enterprise SAIC-Volkswagen with local nameplate ID.4 X, and meanwhile, the ID.4 manufactured by FAW-Volkswagen was named as ID.4 Crozz.

1/18 Volkswagen ID.4 X Diecast Model in Red

This 1/18 scale diecast Volkswagen ID.4 X model is the first ID.4 model released in China, and two different colors including red and yellow are available. There are some common functions such as opening car door, trunk and so on, in addition, flashing light function is available.

1/18 Volkswagen ID.4 X Diecast Model in Yellow

There is a special ID.4 X diecast model with Pokemon painting on model, however, lots of buyers select the pure color ID.4 X diecast models, not this Pokemon edition.

1/18 ID.4 CROZZ Diecast Model

1/18 Volkswagen ID.4 CROZZ Diecast Model in Gray

If you are not interested in ID.4 X diecast models or not interested in the model in red and yellow, there is a 1/18 scale Volkswagen ID.4 CROZZ model in gray. The exterior is a little different, but they have the same functions including flashing light.
ID.4 was updated a facelift for the 2024 model year, however, no related diecast model is released until now, and I pay attention on this car model all the time.
