Nowadays electric water heater can be widely seen at many home because it is so convenient for people using. First of all, switch off power supply and close two angle valves of electric water heater.

Secondly, turn on hot water mouth nozzle nut and plug up hot water mouth to prevent the water of water heater from outflowing. In the meantime, turn on cold water mouth nozzle nut and match it with flexible pipe to drain away water til the cold water mouth does not have any water outflowing.

Thirdly, discharge the flexible pipe matched on the cold water mouth and match the one end of flexible pipe with hot water mouth as well as match another end with faucet, then open up faucet and irrigate it with water for one minute as well as plug up cold water mouth so that cold water can be in the tank for a while, next turn on cold water mouth to drain away water, over and over again, several times till the water that has been drained away is clean.

Finally, screw on the nozzle nuts of cold water mouth and hot water mouth adn open up triangular valve as well as the hot water of faucet of water heater, after the water outflows, close it up.
