We have introduced two 1/18 scale Cadillac CT6 diecast models in previous post, Two 1/18 Scale Cadillac CT6 Diecast Models for Collectors, and today we will introduce the Cadillac CT5, a mid-size luxury car manufactured by General Motors in 2019 as the 2020 model.

According to the new naming strategy, all the Cadillac vehicles with CT Series names such as CT6, CT5 and CT4 are sedan body style, however, Cadillac CT5 with fastback body style looks so distinctive, and it looks like the Cadillac vehicles manufactured in the late 1940s. In Cadillac CT Series lineup, the CT5 is positioned between flagship CT6 and CT4.

With the release of Cadillac CT5 in the fall of 2019, its related diecast car model was produced, however, we can only get the 1/18 scale Cadillac CT5 diecast model in blue, picture is displayed at here.

2020 Cadillac CT5 Diecast Model in Blue

This Cadillac CT5 diecast model was produced by the same manufacturers as CT6 and CT4 as they are almost the same factory package. As a 1/18 scale Cadillac diecast model, there are many working parts such as four car doors, hood and trunk.

Cadillac CT6 was released earlier than CT5, and the price of Cadillac CT4 is lower than CT5, however, when referring to the best selling Cadillac CT Series car in China, it must be the CT5. According to the sales statistics, total 113,315 Cadillac CT5 were sold in China from 2019 to 2021. Compare with Cadillac CT6 diecast models, 2016 and 2019 facelift edition, and Cadillac CT4 models with new released Kaedehara Kazuha painting edition, I think new CT5 diecast models in various colors should be released to meet different buyers’ needs.
